You Are Not Alone

Losing a Service member is a life-changing event. Whether it happened recently or years ago, we want you to know that you are still part of our Family. Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) is here to walk beside you, offering support, guidance, and a listening ear.

SOS connects you with caring professionals who help you understand your benefits, find local resources, and stay connected to a community that honors your loved one. Our mission is simple: to make sure no survivor ever feels forgotten.

Gold Star Family

Ways We Honor Your Loved One

Your Soldier’s legacy deserves recognition, and so does your journey as a Survivor. SOS helps keep their memory alive through meaningful honors:

  • Gold Star and Next of Kin Lapel Buttons to wear with pride
  • Memorial certificates and recognition letters
  • Special ceremonies and remembrance events hosted throughout the year

These symbols help show that your Soldier’s sacrifice and your Family’s strength will never be forgotten.
