Relocation Assistance and Transition Assistance are offered by Child and Youth Services through our youth sponsorship clubs which focus on relocation support and life transitions that military-connected children and youth often encounter. Children and youth will find themselves better prepared for and able to cope with any changes and stresses that they may encounter to their parents' military requirements.
We can also provide parents with access to the tools necessary to guide their children and youth through relocation and life/school transitions-allowing parents to focus on their military missions.
If you would like your child to be assigned a youth sponsor, please send an e-mail request to ftnovosel_youthsponsorship@army.mil and we'll partner your child with a sponsor from one of our age appropriate CYS programs to provide relocation support and peer to peer information.
School Age Center (SAC) provides childcare before and/or after school for children ages 5-10 in grades Kindergarten – 5th. Full-day care is provided during school vacation periods. The SAC program is certified by the Department of Defense and accredited by the Council of Accreditation (COA). The framework for our SAC curriculum is based on the following four service areas: Sports, Fitness, and Health; Life Skills, Citizenship, and Leadership; Arts, Recreation, and Leisure; and Mentoring, Education, and Support Services.
To participate in School-age Center programs/activities, your child must be registered with Child & Youth Services and meet all CYS requirements.
What will SAC provide my children?
