Become a Certified Babysitter with the CYS Teen Babysitter's Course!

Are you a teen aged 12 or older looking to gain valuable skills and earn money as a certified babysitter? Join Child & Youth Services (CYS) for our comprehensive Teen Babysitter's Course. This one-day training will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to be a responsible, safe, and sought-after babysitter.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive your certification and have the opportunity to be placed on the CYS Babysitter's list.

What You Will Learn:

This essential training course covers a wide range of topics, including:

• American Red Cross CPR, AED, & First Aid Training

• Home & Fire Safety Training

• Basic Childcare & Feeding

• Diaper Changing

• Basic Child Abuse Prevention Training

Course Details:

• Date: Friday, October 9th

• Time: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

• Location: Youth Center, Bldg. 2800, 7th Ave

• Cost: $45

• Ages: 12 & Up

Important Information:

• Limited Space: There are only 10 spots available, so register early!

• CYS Registration: A valid CYS registration is required to participate.

• Permission Forms: A parent must sign permission forms for Child Abuse Prevention Training and a release form for the youth to be placed on the CYS Babysitter’s list.

• Bring Your Own: Youth must bring their own snack and lunch for the day.

• Certification: You must complete the entire one-day training to receive certification.

• Registration Deadline: Wednesday, October 7th

• Register at: Parent Central Services (Bldg. 8950, 7th Ave)
