Helping You Settle In While You Wait for Your Belongings
When you move to a new duty station, your household goods might take time to arrive. That’s why we have a Lending Closet at your local ACS. You can borrow basic kitchen, bedroom, or to help you get through those first days in your new home.
These items are free to borrow. You just need your military ID and a copy of your PCS orders. The Lending Closet is open to Soldiers, Families, and DoW Civilians.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
DA civilians may only borrow items if they are PCS'ing to an overseas assignment or returning stateside from an overseas assignment.
When checking items out of the Lending Hangar, you will need to bring the following:
- Current ID Card
- PCS Orders, if necessary
- International Travel Orders (Foreign Students assigned as permanent party)
- Gaining Unit and Duty Phone
- Local Address and Telephone Number
