Gate Access Information
Freedom Fest will be open to the public. Passes are not required on Friday June 26th!
Everyone 18 and older will need to present a valid state or federal ID.
All visitors requesting entry prior to or after June 26th are required to have a visitor's pass.

Get ready to celebrate! As we prepare for Fort Rucker's biggest event of the year, Freedom Fest, please be advised that several MWR facilities will have modified hours or will be closed on Friday, June 26th, 2026.
These changes allow our staff and the entire community to come together and enjoy this fantastic celebration.

Prohibited Items
Coming to Freedom Fest? Bring your lawn chairs and blankets but please leave the following items at home:
- No tote bags or backpacks (medical and baby care items are allowed)
- No pets (service dogs that are properly identified are allowed)
- No fireworks
- No glass containers
- No coolers
- No personal tents
- No weapons to include guns, knives, pepper spray and electric stun devices
- No bicycles, scooters, hoverboards, rollerblades, skateboards or unicycles
Safety and Lost Child
In the event of a lost child, or the occasional lost parent, the lost child tent is located at our Command Post on the corner of Andrews Ave and Crusader St.
The First Aid Station is located on the Crusader St. end of the entertainment field.
