WALKER HAYES
Monument Records recording artist Walker Hayes is a singer/songwriter originally from Mobile, Alabama. His smash hit “Fancy Like” topped every country music sales and streaming chart, spent more than six months at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, hit the top 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Songs, hit No. 1 at country radio, and gave Hayes his first GRAMMY Award nomination as an artist for Best Country Song. The song was also featured in a nationwide Applebee’s commercial. That track, as well as follow up single’s “AA,” “Y’all Life,” and “U Gurl” have made Hayes one of the top selling and streamed artists in country music.
Hayes’ special relationship with his fans has always been at the center of his music. His soul bearing lyrics and honest portrayal of life with his high school sweetheart, Laney, and their six kids while staying sober, dealing with loss, and experiencing everything in between has all but let his fans into his living room. This year will be no different, but with even more insight into the process the singer/songwriter goes thorough when writing a song. In a particularly fruitful creative season, Hayes will be taking new songs directly to his fans with fresh tracks posted and released every month.
