Sewing Class for Beginners

Dust off that sewing machine and get ready to get crafty! The Arts & Crafts Center is hosting a no-pressure, beginner-friendly sewing night perfect for anyone who wants to learn the basics. Grab a friend and join us as our instructors guide you through the fundamentals and help you create something you can be proud of.

For this class, you get to choose your own project! Pick between two fantastic beginner options:

• Project 1: Comfy Cotton Shorts
  The perfect first garment! Learn to make a simple and stylish pair of shorts.

  • What to Bring: 1 ½ yards of cotton fabric and 1 yard of elastic.

• Project 2: Beautiful Quilt Top
  Take your first step into the wonderful world of quilting! Learn the basics of piecing by creating a beautiful quilt top.

  • What to Bring: 1 yard each of 3 different fabric colors.

• Location: Arts & Crafts Center, Bldg. 9205 Ruf Ave., Fort Rucker, AL

• Cost: Only $5 per person!

Please bring your own supplies for your chosen project and a sewing machine if you have one. Make-up classes are available!
