Become a Certified Babysitter with the CYS Teen Babysitter's Course!

Are you ready to become a responsible, confident, and in-demand babysitter? The Child & Youth Services (CYS) Teen Babysitter's Course is designed to give you the skills and certification you need to start your babysitting journey safely and successfully.

This comprehensive, one-day course will prepare you for the responsibilities of caring for children and will cover a wide range of essential topics.

This certification course provides crucial training in:

• American Red Cross CPR, AED, & First Aid

• Home & Fire Safety

• Basic Childcare & Feeding

• Proper Diaper Changing Techniques

• Basic Child Abuse Prevention

Upon completion, you'll not only receive your certification but also have the opportunity to be placed on the official CYS Babysitter's list!

Course Requirements & Details:

• Who: Youth ages 12 and up

• Cost: $30

• CYS Registration: A valid CYS registration is required.

• Forms: A parent must sign a permission form for Child Abuse Prevention Training and a release form to have their youth placed on the CYS Babysitter's list.

• What to Bring: Youth must bring their own snack and lunch for the day.

• Important Note: Youth must complete the full one-day training to receive their certification.

• Location: Youth Center, Bldg. 2800, 7th Ave

Space is limited to 10 spots, so register early!

• Registration Deadline: Monday, July 22nd
