In Processing E1–E4 Financial Orientation Class

A focused introduction to the core money skills every new Soldier needs to start their career strong. The class builds confidence in managing income, creating a spending plan, and setting early financial goals. Participants learn how credit works, how to avoid unnecessary debt, and how to prepare for major purchases like buying a vehicle. The session also highlights key protections such as the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and provides a clear overview of the Thrift Savings Plan within the Blended Retirement System, including Roth and Traditional options.

The class is offered every Tuesday and Thursday morning, 0830-1000, in Building 5700 Room 350, with additional guidance available through the Financial Readiness Program. This orientation gives new Soldiers the tools to make smart financial decisions from day one and build long‑term financial stability
