Sewing Classes - Nov.

The holiday season is right around the corner, and the Arts & Crafts Center is excited to present our lineup of November Sewing Classes! This month, we have some incredibly special projects lined up, including a unique way to repurpose old uniforms into holiday keepsakes.

For just $5 per person, per class, you can learn new techniques, finish up your projects, and craft some beautiful handmade items. Join us for a single class or sign up for the whole month! Click here for a printable event graphic!

November Class Schedule

All classes begin promptly at 9:30 AM.

• November 10: Holiday Stockings

  • Create a beautiful holiday stocking made out of old military uniforms! This makes a wonderful keepsake or gift.

  • Uniform fabric is provided with the class.

• November 14: Holiday Stockings

  • Missed the first session? We're offering a second chance to create your custom military-uniform stocking.

  • Uniform fabric is provided with the class.

• November 17: Finishing Quilts

  • Learn the best techniques for putting the finishing touches on your quilt projects so they are ready to display or gift.

• November 24: "Sewcial" - Finish Your Projects!

  • Join our "Sewcial" gathering! Bring in those unfinished projects (UFOs) and enjoy a dedicated time to sew, socialize, and finally get them done before the holidays.

How to Sign Up & Prepare:

• Please call (334) 255-9020 or email RUCKERARTSANDCRAFTS@ARMY.MIL to request a supply list for your class or to reserve a sewing machine.
