Recycled Art Contest

Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle. To celebrate Arbor Day, be creative and challenge yourself to create an amazing piece of art using recycled materials. The Contest is open to military/DoD youth in grades Kindergarten thru 12th. Winners will be announced on April 24 during the Center Library's Container

Recycled Art Contest RULES:
-Must be a military family child
-Projected must be completed by the child with minor guidance for an adult.
-Project must be constructed of used, recycle materials such as: plastics, cardboard, aluminum cans, newspapers, magazines bottles, etc.
-Fastening materials may include tape, glue, and or string.
-Projects must be turned in to the Fort Rucker Center Library beginning April 2, no later than April 23.
-Winners will be selected by a panel and announced on April 24 during the Center Library's Container Gardening program between 4 pm and 5pm.
-Attach a note card explaining what materials were used and a brief description of your finished art.
