Federal Job Workshop

If you’ve been mystified by the federal hiring process...or you just can't seem to compose a winning federal résumé...or you're a military spouse and need to know more about the special hiring preference programs that apply to you...then you'll need to attend this special event hosted by ACS’s Employment Readiness Program! The morning session (from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm) is dedicated to a comprehensive look at the federal hiring process...with particular emphasis paid to crafting a federal résumé. And, in honor of “Military Spouse Appreciation Month,” Mrs. Bobbi Rossiter (a military spouse and speaker from the Federal Career Training Institute in Catonsville, MD) will present a special workshop for military spouses only from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm. She’ll focus on special military spouse preference programs (e.g., the Priority Preference Program for Spouses, or “PPP-S” for short), and yes...crafting a federal résumé in advance of a PPP-S registration appointment. There’s no requirement to attend both workshop sessions. You don’t need to bring anything; all workshop materials will be provided!
