Learn How to DJ with Richy Smart!

Join us for a free, hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop hosted by Creative Engagement with the Arts and B.O.S.S. (Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers).

Led by instructor Richy Smart, this workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of being a DJ. You'll learn everything from understanding the equipment and music structure to practicing basic transitions. By the end of the session, you'll have a foundational understanding of how to build and perform a basic DJ set using modern gear and software.

• Date: Wednesday, June 12

• Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

• Location: B.O.S.S. Building 8350, Headhunter St.

• Cost: FREE!

• Registration Deadline: Tuesday, June 11

• Eligibility: Participants must be 16 years or older.

What's Provided:

• DJ Controllers (for each pair of participants)

• Connecting cables

• One speaker per controller

What You Should Bring:

• Personal laptop or tablet

• Earphones or headphones

• A short playlist of 6-10 of your favorite songs

• A USB drive (optional)
