Woodshop

The Arts and Crafts Center has a fully equipped woodshop with an experienced staff to help you build anything from a jewelry box to custom furniture. All individuals are required to take a mandatory safety class to utilize the woodshop. Based on patron interest, safety classes will be held on Saturdays.

Woodshop Hours:

Woodshop is now open 4 days a week! Current Covid guidelines still apply; 2 patrons per safety class and no more then 4 patrons during shop time. Face masks required.  Patrons will be required to provide their own PPE to include safety glasses and ear protection.  Usage is by appointment.  Call 334-255-9020 to make a reservation.

    The Woodshop has been managed by Lee Schmid since January 2018. Lee has been doing woodwork off and on since high school. There are two safety classes taught weekly, Wednesday 1700-1800  and Saturday 0900-1000. Patrons are required to provide safety glasses and hearing protection.
