Start Smart Golf Registration

Fort Rucker Youth Sports and the National Alliance for Youth Sports presents the Start Smart Golf program. Start Smart Golf is a six session instructional program that helps children learn the basics of golf: putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. The program helps prepare children for organized golf by using safe and fun equipment to teach them the basic motor skills needed to compete. Registration is July 1st - 31st. This is limited to fifteen (15) participants. Participants must be CYS members and have a current Sports Physical. Start Smart Golf is open to children ages 4-7 at the School Age Center (Bldg. 2806) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:15 - 5:45 p.m. The dates are August 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30. Each participant will be charged $25.00 which includes a t-shirt. There will be a Parent's meeting on August 1st at 5:00 p.m. in the Youth Center, Bldg 2800 located on 7th Ave. This program is a 100% parent participation activity.
